Heather Martin is a mother of three incredible children and a connector at heart. Armed with a journalism degree and a love for storytelling, Heather found herself drawn to the tech world, where she led Talent Acquisition teams for 25 years. Her work wasn’t just about recruiting—it was about finding the right people, creating opportunities, and building connections that helped both individuals and companies thrive.

In early 2024, a layoff became a surprising blessing in disguise, offering Heather the time and space to reconnect with herself. Having recently relocated from her lifelong home in Seattle to sunny Arizona, and navigating life a few years post-divorce, she dove into prayer, journaling, meditation, yoga, and the adventure of forming new friendships.

Always a lover of writing—whether in college or the workplace—Heather found herself drawn back to her creative roots. During her journey of self-discovery, she realized just how foundational friendships were to her life.

 

Inspired to not only deepen her connections but also become a better friend, Heather turned her reflections into action, and her debut book, Tribe Vibes, was born.
